the MC losing pieces of her memory, things were changing as the book progressed. Things as: people changing names or « disappearing », where suddently they didn’t exist, when they had been in the start of the book. 

I found myself flipping to earlier pages a few times to make sure It was what was happening 😅 That made me really invested of wanting to know what the hell was going on, and what the witches were doing.. be it completely unrelated or not. 


I found quite lovely how everyone had a little piece of magic in this universe. Simple little aptitudes like being able to unlock things or being able to light things up being normal.. and yet having trouble believing in witchcraft or magic as a whole.  I’m quite loving those little fantasy elements while the rest of the story are realistic life as we know it.
