This book will forever hold a special place in my heart. I listened to the audio book on repeat as a kid, and loved the escape it gave me.
I just finished my reread of it as an adult, and while it is not at the same level as a lot of other books out there, it is still wonderfully enjoyable. Anne is described as very talkative, and boy, does she talk. But the way her imagination works is so beautiful to witness.
