It’s a pretty big cliffhanger, so you might want to have the next book lined up and ready to go.
After a tragedy that caused her to lose her family (some physically, some mentally), Rowan is beginning a new life in a small town outside of Seattle.
There she meets five men, mysterious and attractive, and to whom she feels drawn.
But there are secrets in town, secrets that will cause her life to change drastically.
This is the first in a series, although there is a prelude novella featuring a secondary character for those interested.
Rowan is a wounded soul, physically, mentally. Her life is spinning down the drain, and what’s left of her family is making things worse. There is some definite mental abuse, though the author was careful to make it impactful and not over the top.
Being a high school age academy series, it of course means you get the bullies and mean girls, and all the other high school cliques represented… and her men seem to come from each one!
This was an enjoyable paranormal academy/RH story for those who enjoy the genre.
