This is the absolute worst audiobook I’ve ever listened to. The female narrator sounds like a CHILD.

The plot? Oh it’s terrible. Non existent. Perfect good girl falls in love with mysterious bad boy? BUT HOW they actually never go out or hang on dates. They just ‘pretend’ to go on dates. Terrible terrible terrible. Nothing funny or thought provoking. Not to mention Annie is the worst. I 100% understand why her date left her midway through in the first chapter. I would have left her too. She is soooooo bland. She’s so ‘I’m not like other girls’ but ‘I’m quickly with my banana pajamas and I wear overalls and I’ve never kissed someone but somehow I’m great at it and I only read pirate romance books and I’m just so perfect that it upsets me’ LIKE STFU GIRL. not to mention I don’t believe there’s any POC characters in it. Also this author tried having a Stars Hallow type community with town meetings but oh no… it was not funny nor do I care about any of the characters. My god, I’m actually so mad I wasted my time and Spotify audiobook hours on this book.

0/0. I also did not now this is apparently a sequel but you do not need to read the former to get a grasp on this one. But pls love yourself and skip this
