hwz 's review for:
A Court of Wings and Ruin
by Sarah J. Maas
A very satisfying conclusion to Rhys & Feyres love story! A little bit long winded at times, but at least the extra pages were used to effectively world build rather than do nothing at all.
I loved that there was interactions with more of the other High Lords and courts here, as I think it could’ve been boring if we’d have just rehashed again how the Night Court is when we got that info extensively already in ACOMAF - like yes, give me a comparison base and introduce me to some new characters!
Sex, drama, angst - if you liked the other two books, there is no doubt you will adore this! The stakes are the highest in this book than they’ve ever been, so the energy does have more of an epic fantasy tinge than the other two, which I’d say are more traditional Romantasy.
