Taking Shots by Toni Aleo

5.0

I was never in to hockey until I started reading this series. The characters are realistic and for the most part very likable. It was refreshing to read about a rich female that didn't flaunt it and could get as embarrassed as others do over their fan obsessions. The book not only gives us a couple to cheer on, but someone to despise in Elli's mom. I found myself cheering Shea on as he struggled with his love for Elli. When Elli apologized to Shea it fantastic and heartfelt, bring an awwwww to the book. Counting down to Blue Lines.

5/16/2019 I just listened to Taking Shots on Audio. It was a great way to get my housework and yard work done. The narrator was really a joy to listen to while I skipped down memory lane to the beginning of one of my favorite series.
