Some people see 3 stars or 3.5 stars and think the reader didn't like the book..but not if your reading my reviews. This is my breakdown..3 I liked the book 4 I REALLY liked the book 5 I LOVED the book..so a 3 star read is a good book. Because this book is tied to Drew and Fable and I had my expectations set higher. Fair? Maybe not but I loved their story and craved more of them..in anyway I could get it..

This story is about Jen and Colin, you met them in the last installment of Drew and Fable's story. Colin was a bit slimy for me in the last book, but I try not to write a character off and have been known to go from despising a support character to LOVING them in their own story. I don't know that I fell in love with Colin but I did like him.
"So scary, but the only time I feel safe. the only time I feel like I'm at home, is when I'm with Colin." Jen
Jen on the other hand was a hard pill to swallow for me. She tried to act like her actions were based on surviving and strength, but to me she was weak. Much of the story was based around both her weakness and his loyalty to her brother and family. It wasn't my cup of tea. Personally a weak female can totally ruin a story for me, but Jen had a bit of a backbone in finally demanding Colin stop fucking around and start fucking her.. Now were talking..looking up baby!

I enjoyed this story and read it through but it was missing a little bit of fire and passion that Drew and Fable encompassed. Fable's friendship was the little spark I needed to draw me to Jen. If you have friends I like then you can't be so bad right..
