SO good! And SO creepy! I was constantly looking around the room for killers even when someone else was in the room with me. Lots of twists, of course. I couldn't wait to pick the book up again. Even though it's almost 400 pages, I never found a section that was too slow or felt superfluous. Bolton is the master at laying out all of the clues right from the start, and still surprising you with the murderer, as well as letting you lead yourself to some really wrong conclusions. Such a fun read!

The only challenge was that Bolton did not give any recap, and a lot of the interaction was based on the events in the first book. I had to really rack my brain to remember the exact details of Lacey's initial relationship with Mark Joesbury and the Ripper killer, who isn't ever even named, just given dialogue as, "the prisoner."
