Fifty First Times by Julie Cross

4.0

I really wanted to read Crash by Sophie Jordan, and I ended up just reading the entire thing. I've never really read an anthology before, and I found I really liked it! I love romance stories, but they sometimes take an unnecessary long time, and with these short stories it's just very fast paced (which makes sense, because... short stories). The topic "first times" didn't appeal to me that much, but I soon found that each author interpreted "first times" differently. I think this book helped me found some new authors I think I'll enjoy. I guess I'll go find a new anthology to read. Any recommendations?

My favourites were:
- Crash by Sophie Jordan: Hunter and Brooke's story from the Foreplay series.
- Once Bitten by Cole Gibsen: a woman has to join her ex to go find a missing girl.
- Believe in Me by Jennifer L. Armentrout: Ollie and Britt's story from the Wait for You series.
- Love in an Elevator: two people hit it off in a broken elevator. Also, why doesn't Carry Ryan write more contemporary? This was excellent!
