this book was very bewitching. there is nothing like getting hooked onto a good book. this one was unbelievable. the narrator, Richard: he speaks in beautiful prose but his insights were rather shallow: my favourite characters were camilla (my love) and i liked cloke, francis was interesting and henry was....charming but not. charles was shallow and terrible near the end, bunny...could not tell u one thing about him. julian's character was built up for nothing, certain parts were beautiful. i was hooked at the end. there was skimming at times. i felt amazed and disgusted at equal parts.
