A lot of the reviews on here seem to be for the Oresteia in general and not Robert Icke's adaptation but we move.
I loved Icke's modernisation of this which still feels timeless in its own way. The choice to make Electraa figment of Orestes' imagination in this adaptation is buckwild, and yet works perfectly. The commentary in the courtroom in regards to Clytemnestra's being demonised also cuts so sharp in this.
