The Annotated Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen

A delightful time! I had only seen the movie (many many times) so I was really interested in how different it was. The text is much more subtle than the movie, so I get why they had to make changes to make the characters clear. While I have come to love Alan Rickman as Colonel Brandon, after reading the book, I would fancast Alexander Skarsgard or Lee Pace instead--though I can see that they might be ~too~ handsome to be Brandon. Anyway. I read the annotated version this time around and I had a great time.
