I didn't like this book? I think? But at the same time I couldn't put it down and finished it in a day.
First off, was not a fan of the writing style. Way too disconjointed and kept throwing me out of the story at first.
Second, I assume the author was trying to be clever with the George story line, leaving it out from Fig's point of view to show how narcissistic she is, but then putting it in Jolene..
But it just came off as confusing and like really bad writing and it took me some googling to figure out what was going on
Third, this book started out as Fig intent to step Mercy... And that dropped off right away... It had no storyline, no arc, just no point. Too many plot points used once and then never reexamined, like the maxed out credit cards and the wire transfer to Paris. So not a fan.
