The smut had potential why the extra star but this was kinda cack imo. While the past trauma for the MMC was touching, im not sure it prompted Ronan’s personality first towards everyone and later when it just changed to him wanting a family and stuff. It just felt a bit weird and out of pocket since hes meant to be such a bad ass. It just lacked cohesion on a way for me. Much more so with Calista. Again the past trauma felt shoe horned in and i didnt understand the relationship with the mother. Was she a good daughter with the interior design and shit or was she a broken angry kid with the tattoos and the piercings and whatever. Like i just couldnt get a handle on it. The forced proximity was weird and didnt really make sense why the mother didnt know.
