Rogue's Passion by Laurie London
3.0
Rogue's Passion follows Asher and Olivia as they bond together following an explosion in New Seattle. Asher's an undercover agent from beyond a mystical portal, and Olivia's living undercover, concealing her para-talent from the authorities who would exploit it - and her - for their own purposes.
This book was neither great nor terrible. It wasn't what I expected: I thought I was getting a paranormal romance, and instead it was something closer to erotica with a paranormal romance wrapper. I wish I could go back and read it for the first time expecting erotica to see how that impacted my experience!
On the plus side, the sex was generally well written. On the down side, there were some odd moments that I felt ruined the overall mood of the book (see: the department store scene!)
