Saw this book on Goodreads and thought it looked fun. I was right. It's like the In Death series but on the other side of the law. Sam and Rick are entertaining, the book was funny and hot while still having a good plot. My one issue was just that the characters seemed to analyze their feelings too much, like every other line. Rick would think about how he didn't approve of Sam's profession. Sam would think about how she could never have a normal life. Over and over.
But I still loved it.
