Cut & Thirst: A Short Story
by Margaret Atwood
funny
lighthearted
fast-paced
A fun little story, a bit of a palate cleanser as I’m trying to wade through a book I’m probably going to DNF. It’s only 34 pages so you can whizz through it.
Four retired friends are gathered to decide on a revenge against men who slighted their friend when they were all young.
I think I have a soft spot for stories with older women protagonists, as I loved Drive Your Plow Ober the Bones of the Dead and The Haar so I need more stories with older ladies.
