I find the more that I read about Terry Goodkind and his works, the more that I find that he's a guy who read a fantasy novel, got a general idea on what all it entailed, and decided to write his own version of a fantasy novel while claiming he's changed the genre, with Objectivism moralizing and BDSM psychic blowjob rape to keep things spicy.

I dislike using the word 'hack', as I take the art of writing seriously and I tend to give a lot of writers the benefit of the doubt that they also take the art of writing seriously. Though I remain in doubt on if Goodkind does.
