This is very much more of a 2.5 and I'm being generous and giving it the 3. I wanted to love this, especially since I'm a fan of the nanny trope but it didn't work for me at all. The plot twist in this was unnecessary and ruined the story for me tbh.

Spoiler Personally, I'm not a big fan of the surprise pregnancy trope at the best of times. I'm even less of a fan of the surprise pregnancy trope when she gets pregnant with a baby from someone who isn't the love interest. And then, to make matters worse, she keeps it. I'd honestly love to see at least one book where the FMC has an abortion. And as if that wasn't bad enough, the man who got her pregnant also essentially raped the male love interests sister when she was 16 and he was 27. Ruined the romance for me, I can't lie.
