I actually enjoyed this book more than I thought I would. it wasn't what i was expecting at first, and i didn't really love the language that it was written in. but the story of huck and jim captivated me; and what drew me in especially was the themes of the novel. the juxtaposition of freedom in between nature and society as well as the moral dilemmas were quite interesting and entertaining to read about. this novel tackled difficult and deep issues through the perspective of an adventurous and curious boy, and it made it all the more interesting.
