I bought both Magic Lessons and this one as soon as I found out. Practical Magic is one of my favorite movies ever. I don’t know if it’s because I am so attached to the movie and it was just too different or because I expected the same level of magic as in Magic Lessons, but it did not deliver. I enjoyed getting to know the characters, but it did not feel like a witchy read.
