American Gods by Neil Gaiman

1.0

Outside of the fact I found this boring and couldn't wait for it to end. Neil Gaiman writing of women makes me very uncomfortable. His male gaze corrupts the prose deeply. Every women almost solely exists as a sex object. Seems like the first thing we find out about any female character over the age of 16 is her chest size. The attractiveness of any women is the most important feature all women characters while I cannot think of anything that is remaked about a male characters appearance other than size.
