Only You by Melanie Harlow

4.0

Emme Devine is a wedding planner with a successful career and a pretty nice life. The only thing missing from said life is romance, especially after her latest fiasco.
Nate Pearson is a divorce attorney who lives across the hallway from Emme. He doesn’t believe in love or HEA and seems pretty happy with his lifestyle and never ending string of hook ups. But that’s until the night they find a baby on his doorstep with a note telling it’s his and the world as he knows it is instantly turned upside down.
Broken by his past, Nate has carefully guarded his heart and made himself into a bit of a robot going through life’s motions and it takes his newfound parenthood to show him his plan is far from flawless. Emme is a breath of fresh air, a dreamer of sorts and exactly the woman Nate needs to balance him out. I loved both characters and their relationship.
Ms. Harlow never disappoints. Once again she has written a great love story. Being a fan of friends to lovers’ trope, I feel this one checked all the boxes. It’s heartfelt, sexy, romantic and funny. There isn’t a dull moment in this book and the only regret you’d have is passing it up.
