Dante literally wrote this as a fanfiction and I hate letter to all his enemies lol. First he has his favorite poet ever that is guiding him through the circuits of hell. And then he has every single person that probably has ever wronged him, or anyone that he doesn’t like. They were  going through these stages in hell like a major FUCK YOU to anyone you don’t like. I like learning about the different stages because it was just interesting to see you like what matched up with stuff. I feel like all of them really had good representations of like why they were there. Except maybe the raining all the time. Because that one was really confusing because how is that gluttony. I like the snake pit with the people that were robbers in their life so every time they got bitten by a snack they lost their identity. Or the river stynx were the wrath people were just constantly fighting lol.

Now I understand why this book was considered a comedy. Because even though in some parts I was confused what was happening. Dante fainting every four seconds made me laugh
