Complicated feelings on this book - I feel like it simplified a lot of very complex situations and added some storylines just for the shock value. Could have done without the billeting Nazi-sympathizer plotline, and Isabelle's work was glossed over so much for the length of time this book covered. I read it quickly and wanted to see what happened next, but I was more excited for this bestseller by a fave author than I should have been.
