V is for Virgin by Kelly Oram
3.0
I liked the story but I almost disliked all the characters. Kyle was the only "real" character for me. I'm french so I don't really know the big deal about abstinence and virgin things.
Cara is the worst friend ever but I don't understand why, in the end, she and Val don't talk bout what happened. I mean they were BFF. She get married without Val, they didn't talk for 4 years !
The epilogue was to much I think. We don't really what happened for the previous 4 years. How Val and Steph became "sisters", what happened to Eric (the poor guy completely disappeared from the book). Too shallow, too much questions need answers.
And Val's biological mom ?! Poof here she appears like magic to give Val a happy ending. "ok gurl, you're still a virgin, you didn't find the prince charming even if ALL your friends are happily married and got a bunch of babies but hey your real mom is here and your former crush wrote an album for you (again)" all that in 10 pages or so.... COME ON
