Did not finish book. Stopped at 41%.

sigh... a lose for the YA east asian fantasy enthusiast 😔 nothing glaringly bad, it's just incredibly boring and while i can appreciate that this doesn't strictly follow the same mandatory easian YA fantasy plot, the fmc is the exact same cookie cutter one made for this specific genre. what a shame... the premise is so interesting yet no bite whatsoever
