The Map of Bones by Francesca Haig

4.0

This was a solid 4 for me! It kept me entertained and always wanting to know what would happen next. The book tackles a lot. Solid middle book. More things got explained and still have questions that I'm sure the last installment in the trilogy will answer. Omegas and Alphas. The tension is real the social injustice is real and it's sickening too.

I struggled a little with Cass' survivor's guilt throughout the book. At the same time seeing her get torn apart by her visions was rough. I can't wait to see how the knowledge that her visions are visions and not memories shapes her. I'm glad that finally she's disconnected in a way from her twin. She wants to live for her! Woooh!

Piper piper piper. The tension is there. I wonder if at all if his relationship with Cass will develop into a romantic one. I hope it will I think they do a good job at depending on one another in different ways. I also love the protective feel he has towards her.

Zoe!! I'm so happy she didn't leave. She kicks major butt all day. I couldn't imagine the trio being separate and I think her and Cass need some girl friends lol.

The ending truly left me on a bit of a WHAT NEXT... feel. Ready to know more about Elsewhere and how the gang is going to save it...hopefully.
