The Black Death: A Personal History
by John Hatcher
This could have been done so much better. But weaving historical facts with fiction is very hard to do when there are so little facts to go on-something the author tells the reader over and over, and over.
I thought it would be more of a personal history from one person's experience. But it was more about the economic and overall impact the bubonic plague had on society. Not so much about the main character. Overall, a boring read and difficult to get through.
