Little Women by Louisa May Alcott

This is probably going to turn into a comfort read for me. I had an abridged version that my sister and I loved when we were younger, but I had never read the full version. Nothing like a great movie to motivate you to read the book, and it did not disappoint. This is such a heartwarming book of love, family, and support. I absolutely love the relationships between the sisters, and how each has a different way of being that works for them. The clashes between personalities, sisterly acts of revenge, and heartfelt apologies ring very true if you have a sister you’re close with. Yes, there are religious tones and messages and I’m not religious, but it’s part of the story and the characters’ way of life, so it makes sense.
