Starving Anonymous Vol. 1 by Kazu Inabe, Yuu Kuraishi, Kengo Mizutani

i read this because our intern at work really likes this series and i wanted to get to know her a bit better.
the story starts off really intriguing and i thought if would make a statement about climate change and overpopulation. it might still. but it suffers from typical horror manga bs. sexual violence is played for laughs. the one queer coded character talks about wanting to "violate virgin assholes" and the body horor consists mostly of fat bodies.
