The story explores the intricate relationships between family members, partners and friends in a life-like tale. Real life is messy, and in this book, it shows. It outlines how we sometimes forget that other people may have a different perspective on things and their own issues to deal with. And that idea of "sonder"? Spot on.
The writing is particular: A lot of descriptions but so precise and on point that they remind you of the moments where you've found poetry in everyday's life.
I wasn't convinced by the climax of the story, you know that 70-80% mark? It just did not work for me.
Overall, I still enjoyed my reading/listening.
