Who knew painting a wall would be such Hot foreplay and funny at the same time!!!
Carly and Zeke...they were just amazing. Their love/hate relationship made for a hilarious back and forth filled with intense tension.
After meeting them in 'Being Brooke' I was beyond excited when I learned that Carly and Zeke would get their own book and by god did Emma deliver.
Carly is the kind of friend everyone wants. Sarcastic, loyal, funny and has an awesome dog who has an affinity for humping Zeke. What's not to love??
Zeke, well Zeke was just Zeke! The incredibly hot brother or Carly's best friend, Cain. He brought out the best and worse in Carly and really, just loved to push her buttons right to the tipping point. Their constant back and forth made for amazing foreplay.
I must admit I did find this book a bit slow to get into, but that was down to me being in a bit of a slump going in.
I also have to admit, that I actually preferred Carly's book over Brooke's. I think I just loved the drastic change in her relationship with Zeke and their overall chemistry.
All in all, this was another brilliant book by Emma. An author who just loves giving us quirky and hilarious grandparents. I can't wait to see how she is going to top the oldies from this book.
