read as part of the #AsianClassicsReadAlong hosted by @ktlee.writes, @surabhi.reading, and @theliteraryloot. grateful for these read alongs to broaden my reading, especially since this wouldn't have been on my radar.
there's ~30 short stories and most of them are fairly quick, although there was discussion in our readalong about whether these might loosely center around a community. overall, i am glad i read these with the group! short stories still aren't my favorite, but it was a nice low commitment way to explore something new.
