It felt far too geared toward the kinds of people who enjoy true crime for the wrong reasons. Descriptions of sensitive subjects were far more graphic than needed to convey their weight, and certain characters were not enjoyable to read from the perspective of, despite them being a character you're supposed to root for, though aside from those the story was compelling.
