4.5* I read the majority of this book during a power outage at my house, and was so engrossed in it, that I didn't realize it had come back on. This book has it all: mystery, romance, betrayal, friendship, sacrifice. The dynamics between the River Point Boys intrigued me throughout the whole book and kept me on my toes. Just when I thought I knew who killed Grant, I was proven wrong. The ending shocked me and I didn't see it coming at all. I loved Kate and Shep's relationship for it was so realistic and raw. You will not be disappointed by this book.
