Did not finish book. Stopped at 32%.
Not a bad premise, but the writing is a little info-dumpy and flat so despite the intriguing premise and world, the overall effect is quite boring unfortunately. 
This kind of storyline really needs a more compelling writing style IMO, something more expressive and more emotionally stirring.
