Wood You Rather? by Daphne Elliot

4.0

This is the 2nd book I've read in this series and the pattern I see is the books are... GETTING BETTER. Elliots' writing style is easy to fall into, but more so she is crafting characters that make sense. Parker made sense to be involved in the investigation and she was the only kind of woman I could imagine Paz ending up with he needs some spark in his life but he also needs a person who is unafraid of hurting his feeling when he is in need of a reality check. Am I still hating the drug storyline? Yes. Do I hate it a lot less since we got the kick-ass (literally) scene from Parker and Paz? Hell yes! ANYONE wanting to write (or read) good enemies to lovers THIS is enemies to lovers. PS the sibling banter 10/10
