I really enjoyed this. I don’t really know why, but I did. Maybe it’s because the book was so well written it appealed to all the senses. Maybe it’s because the story smelt like gunpowder, felt like cool rifle steel and hot blood, looked like a cold grin and dead eyes, tasted like desperation and sounded like the crack of a shotgun.
All of these sense wrapped into one book with the cover of a simple, easy knowledge on how to kill and being okay with it.
Or maybe I’m just reading too much into it. Who knows? I don’t have the skill of accuracy like Boudica does.
