Did not finish book. Stopped at 40%.

The telling from the uninformed and egotistical male POV was driving me nuts but I only read as much as I did bc I was on a plane and it was all I had. Read the rest of the series summary on Wikipedia and I AM SO GLAD I didn't continue reading. What a shitshow
