The book is a clever weaving of real online and offline narratives that reflect millennial experiences. While it is clear that the writing is smart and interwoven with snappy anecdotes, I found the book difficult to follow as the sections were too short and I found that I was unable to understand all the passages. Perhaps this is also due to the focus on a hyper-American perspective on the online world which may be lost for readers who are less online.
