The Last Namsara by Kristen Ciccarelli
3.0

This is another belated review that should have gone up earlier but it didn’t. However it’s finally here! I got this book in a FairyLoot box and finally got around reading it as well. The only thing I really knew about the book was that it has dragons in it and I adore dragons so how could I not be interested in reading this? Well, the first half of the book didn’t disappoint me at all. However the second half… now that’s another story.

The story, as I mentioned, started off quite nicely, I enjoyed it a lot but by the end I was left with disappoinment. I realised it lately that the books I’ve gotten through FairyLoot (except 2 and I’m currently reading State of Sorrow so I don’t know what to say about that yet) just aren’t for me. Because of that I’m seriously considering not really buying more of the boxes. The story was quite predictable and at one point the romance kind of taken over it and if you’ve been reading my blog, you know how I hate when that happen. It was easy to read (as most YA stories are) so that wasn’t really the problem and as I mentioned I quite liked the first half of it. However it got very repetitive with certain elements and the story was completely lost in the second half of the book. The world building wasn’t completely flashed out but I didn’t really have a problem with that.
