The writing was just as good as it was in the previous book! Always a good thing. I feel like some authors get a little lazy after a few books in to their series.

We were also introduced to new characters, though we also lost a few. Nox....Nox I suspected you as soon as I started reading Divined. I was still upset by your betrayal but I still saw it coming. Shame. On. You. For doing that to Tirza!

It was action-packed like the rest of the books in the series, but the romantic spark between Riece and Clio wasn't as strong as the previous novels. There should have been more scenes between them or something because the spark wasn't as strong as it has been previously. It was very disappointing because half the reason I read the books was because their connection was just so....*sigh* fantastic.

Forsaken had more steamy moments between these two characters than this one. Like I said, disappointing, so therefore, I must chop a star in half as punishment to the author lol. I was, however, very glad that Riece finally proposed! It only took a few years and a few books, but he finally did it lol.

Overall, the action and plot were really good. I just wanted some steamy romance between Riece and Clio. There should have been more there, except, there was less than the previous books. I wanted more. I would have been happier with more scenes between them like in the first book, or even the second!

Sad to see the series end but I can't wait to see what Emily Wibberley comes up with next!
