A beautiful and tragic retelling of the life of "Buddy" Bolden for all the jazz and poetic writing lovers.
I personally had a hard time following and only truly got used to the writing style about halfway through the book.
A lot in between was lost for me; perhaps I need to reread it to experience it fully.
