nmslibrary 's review for:
The Wave
by Todd Strasser, Morton Rhue
reflective
fast-paced
Strong character development:
Yes
A good book that shows how easily human beings can take part in movement without fully realising how wrong it is. There also of course a reflection on the regime filled by many in Germany during WW2.
Why I didn’t give it a higher rating?
The book is really fast paced so it is good if you want a quick and reflective read. However to me it didn’t dive deep enough, it was just surface level unfortunately but it is address to a younger audience. That is why the writing style bothered me, it is ya.
