Bad for the Boss by Talia Hibbert

Did not finish book. Stopped at 16%.
I know this book was released around the time the MeToo movement was really entering the public space and acknowledge that it can be a fun trope to play out in fiction when the power dynamics aren’t real, but here I just couldn’t get into it and all I could think was: inappropriate behaviour for a workplace! It just wasn’t for me. Partly because it happened so quickly, when they were meeting for the second time to discuss how she was being sexually harassed by a colleague, and partly because I was angry with the hero for refusing to call the heroine by the name she asked to be called by.

I was aware of the content warning for the prologue (home invasion), and reading more into the additional content warnings when I was at 16% cemented my decision that the book isn’t for me.
