Becoming Mrs. Lockwood by K.I. Lynn

4.0

This was a difficult book for me to review. I finished it yesterday, but had to sleep on it on how I wanted to rate and review. I finished the book, which means that I liked it enough to keep reading. The author did a really great job with the plot. I liked all the characters very much and it was a different type of read for me. I love a good "waking up in Vegas married" and "celebrity with an unknown", so this fit the bill for me.

**Spoilers**
There were some things that I struggled with. The first was the age gap between Weston and Wren. Normally I don't have a problem with age gaps, but the fact that she was still in high school really bothered me. I had a hard time moving past that. Another thing that really bothered me was Wren's mother. I have a hard time liking a mother that encourages her 18 year old daughter to stay married to a man in his 30s. Wren was the mature one in this situation. I also had a hard time believing that Weston's friends accepted his relationship as quickly as they did; Miles' reaction was the most believable.

While I'm not sure I will reread this, I appreciated K.I. Lynn's writing style and will certainly read other books by her.
