I didn't love it quite as much as Blood Heir, mostly because—in my romance-obsessed opinion—Ramson and Ana didn't get enough scenes together (they aren't in ANY scenes together for about the first third of the book), but it was still super good and I cannot WAIT for book three! Most of my thoughts are spoilery so they'll be below, but overall I love how well plotted and shocking this series is so far—so many times I was LEGITIMATELY STRESSED OUT for my babies!!! So many gasps aloud! So much time spent almost tearing my hair out trying to read as fast as I could so I could find out what happened next!

So I wasn't completely hooked until Ramson and Ana FINALLY met up 35% of the way through. You have no idea, I was dying waiting for them to be in a scene together! What's the point of reading if Ramson and Ana aren't making me swoon on every page?? Speaking of swooning: THE FREAKING POOL SCENE I WANTED THEM TO FINALLY KISS. AND THEN EVENTUALLY THEY FINALLY DID KISS BUT ONLY LIKE ONCE AND IT MADE ME SO HAPPY BUT THEN RAMSON AND ANA HAVE TO GO SEPARATE WAYS??? PLEASE MEET BACK UP QUICKER IN BOOK 3. AND I CANNOT EXPRESS HOW STRESSED I WAS WHEN RAMSON ALMOST DROWNED. I haven't been that stressed reading a book in a long time, which is such a good thing because it proves how invested I am in these characters!
