Firstly, this book story was born from tik tok skits then-turned story book. So bear that in mind.
This book story line seemed to be a cross between “the office” & “the princess bride” and “ted lasso”as far as charm, tongue in cheek humor. I envision “the villain” to be a mosh pit of roy kent + coach beard with a twist of villain (like) hades (from disney animated movie hercules)for gruff and yet labrador retriever vibes.
It was a clever book. It has some jutted plot descriptions where i felt the connections were vague.
Otherwise, the characters and ensemble were endearing. Looking forward to the second book “accomplice to the villain”.
