I liked this story, the writing and most of the characters - except the main character. She drove me bat shit crazy! Also, the chemistry of Ave Maria and Jac Mac just wasn't there on the page for me through most of the book. I realize the writer thought she put it there, but Ave was such a wreck and her internal dialogue of anxiety was so distracting I couldn't feel the relationship.
I liked some of the other characters and the overall story was good and it moved along, but damn - that girl just needed to turn her mind off.
